> What is a Blog?
A blog is an outstanding communication platform for conveying articles and personal journal entries. A Blog is similar to a website, in that it is viewable by anyone on the internet. But it is also somewhat similar to a Discussion Forum in that people can comment or respond to your various postings. Blogs are ideal for pastors and ministry leaders, because they can communicate their daily thoughts and perspectives regarding ministry, provide daily devotions, or communicate anything else that may be important. All Blog entries may be categorized under categories the Blogger defines, and all entries are archived by date for easy retrieval. > Who can have a blog?
Any registered individual on the E-Church Network. Basic membership if FREE. To join the E-Church Network, simply register. You will be required to assign yourself to one of our Mentor Ministries. For a ministry-neutral option, you may simply select E-Church Essentials to be your "Mentor Ministry". Once you are a member, you will have FREE access to numerous online tools and assessments. You will also be able to activate your Blog account.

Podcasting is an audio or video file that is distributed with your blog entry.
Your blog has full support for podcasting. You simply upload your media file along with your latest post.
You blog site contains a feed to enable portable
media players to fully integrate with your podcast files.
> How much does a Blog cost?
FREE. Each user who signs up is eligible to activate a blog.
> Can my Blog be customized?
Yes. You have full control over the header design of your Blog. You may also define your Blog's title, description and choose whether to display your personal photo and name. You may also manage your own library of links to other blogs and websites.
> What Is a News Feed, and is this Feature Supported?
Yes, our Blogs support XML News Feeds. A News Reader is a means for individuals to receive up-to-the-moment news updates from the various Blogs that they value.
By utilizing a News Reader program (Free options exist), people do not need to actually visit your site to receive your news, your news can be shared directly to their computer.
